Alan Say is relatively new to Swisher and was awarded the Swisher Watford territory in December 2003. Previously an Account Manager for a software service, he felt that franchising was the new direction he needed. “After too many years in technical sales and business development working for a variety of organisations, I decided it was time for a change. I was looking to broaden my horizons and face new challenges, and the idea of running my own business was one that really appealed to me”.

“I soon found out that there are a bewildering number of franchises out there but on closer inspection very few met my own needs. There are many reasons why I believe the Swisher franchise is the right one for me. First and foremost I was looking for a sound business model that will give me the return on investment that I need in order to meet present and future aspirations. Also, I wanted a business where the profitability of both Franchisor and the Franchisee are closely linked, as this encourages support and teamwork throughout the network – to everyone’s benefit.”
