Washroom hygiene services company, Swisher, has more than one reason to raise a glass as it celebrates one of its long standing customers, The Front, in Falmouth Cornwall, picking up the South West regional CAMRA award.
Established in 1988, the annual competition helps to highlight quality pubs around the UK that are worth seeking out and visiting. Each year, each local CAMRA branch nominates one pub in their area to be entered.
These 200 pubs then go through to the regional competition, which then whittles down to four pubs that compete to participate in the national final, of which The Front made it through.
Whilst narrowly missing out on the national award to The Bridge End Inn in Wrexham, The Front was largely chosen as a regional winner and national runner up for its passion for and broad range of local ales and cider, including the renowned Cornish lager Skindog.
Its visitor numbers can be quite high since people travel from some distance to experience the ales. Quite simply, The Front's washroom hygiene has to be of a high standard to cope with the volume of people using its facilities.
Matt Reay of The Front, adds:
“Swisher provide us with an exceptional weekly sanitising service and provide us with high quality compact toilet tissue, feminine hygiene units, air fresheners, and soap – all at a competitive price.”
Nigel Lockett of Swisher Cornwall, comments:
“Being awarded pub of the year is fantastic news and we are delighted to think that we play such an active role in keeping The Front's washrooms clean and pleasant.”
